One of the world’s largest business consulting firms selects CSS as preferred partner for Knowledge Management initiatives

Chennai, India, November 18, 2004: Cybernet Software Systems (CSS) Inc., a global IT services provider based at San Jose, CA with offshore facilities in India, has been engaged by one of the largest business consulting firms in the US. The firm leverages Lotus Notes technology for collaboration across divisions and geographies and CSS has been retained as their sole offshore partner for Lotus Notes technologies.

Knowledge is the key asset of consulting firms and a reliable and efficient knowledge management system is critical in ensuring that the organization meets its business objectives. The objective of this project is to create a Knowledge Management process for the consulting firm to consolidate all its knowledge repositories spread across eleven countries.

CSS will leverage its expertise in Lotus Notes as well its experience in building complex Knowledge Management systems to deliver a solution that will enable the client to create, manage and share a global knowledge repository that will effectively enable the usage of knowledge resources across geographic locations and business units.

CSS business analysts will identify and define requirements while offshore teams will build rapid prototypes for approval and develop and deploy final end-to-end systems.

In addition to this CSS has also been engaged to build several other systems for the client, which include HR Management, Leave Management, Helpdesk and Financial Management, among others.
